Virtues of Surat Al-Paqara:
As long as we are going through explanation and interpretation of the verses of Surat Al-Paqara, we will go through its countless virtues. Another virtue of Surat Al-Paqara that it will come as a cloud over its readers on the Day of Judgment, as Prophet Muhammad -peace and blessings be upon him- said: (Read the Quran as it will come on the day of resurrection as an intercessor to its companions.Read ”Al-zahrawain” ( two luminous); Surat Al Paqara and Surat Aal-Imran, as they will come on the day of resurrection as if they are two shads between which there is illumination, or as two dense clouds, or as two arrays of birds extending their wings arguing on behalf of their people. Read Surat Al-Paqara, as taking it is a blessing, and leaving it is a sorrow, and the sorcerers are not able to it.) Explanation and interpretation of the Fourth verse of Surat Al-Paqara:4#{And those who believe in what is sent down to you and what was sent down before you, and in the hereafter they are sure}.
In this verse, Allah the Almighty continued in telling the characteristics of the believers, saying that they are who ” believe in what is sent down to you”, this means that they believe in the Quran. “and what was sent down before”, this means the heavenly books that had been sent before Islam, and this feature is a condition to be a true believer only in Islam, as Muslims believe in all Messengers of Allah. And on the other hand, when Islam was revealed, there were disbelievers who did not believe in Allah or his Messenger Muhammad, and there were also People of the book who are Christians, and Jaws, who believed in Allah and a previous Messenger from Him, and they may thought that they are on their right path to Allah and not in a need to believe in Islam or in Prophet Muhammad, and Quran says that it was revealed to all the humankind, even People of the books, because in their heavenly books there are news about Prophet Muhammad and they have to believe in him. “in the hereafter they are sure”, here, Allah -the Almighty- made believing in the hereafter is a condition to be a true believer, as the previous heavenly books did not say any thing about the hereafter, and if this condition was not mentioned in Quran, they might say that Quran is the same as the previous religions. But Allah -the Almighty- made it clear that there is a Paradise for the believers and a hell for the disbelievers in the hereafter, and true Muslims should believe in them, unless he will make this life is his only concern and his main goal. If the believer is committed to the rules of religion, and the disbeliever unleashes his cravings, and they both died, lets imagine that there is not a hereafter, and no reward or retribution, so the disbelievers would be more lucky than the believers. And it does not agree with the call to believe in any of the heavenly religions. This shortcode LP Profile only use on the page Profile
